How does the bladder work?
If you suffer from a weak or sensitive bladder, it might be interesting to know how the bladder actually works. The bladder is the repository where the urine is stored. The brain and nervous system control the bladder´s activity with the help of a small muscle called the sphincter. Once the bladder volume has reached a certain amount, a signal will be transmitted to the brain, the sphincter will open up and the urine will be discharged. However, when you suffer from a weak or sensitive bladder, wrong signals might be passed along, ending in a constant urge to urinate or a non-suppressible urge to release urine.
